The two Directors, Steve Clifford and Martin Talbot, have been working together since the late 1970’s and have been in business partnership since 1984.
Steve Clifford B.Sc. (Hons), C.Eng, MIMechE, MEI, MCIBSE
Steve trained and worked with John Thompson Ltd. (boilermakers) for eleven years during which time he studied and successfully completed an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then spent six years with an energy consultancy company where he was responsible for a team of eight engineers involved in Energy & Environmental investigation and implementation work. He also undertook the marketing and business development role for the company before becoming a founding Partner of Clifford Talbot Partnership in 1984.
Martin Talbot M.Sc., C.Eng., MEI, MCIBSE
Martin commenced his career as a graduate trainee with Vickers Engineering Ltd. and then left to obtain a Masters Degree in Applied Energy at Cranfield Institute of Technology (now Cranfield University). He then joined an energy consultancy company and worked on both design and energy survey related projects. This involved all sectors and a wide variety of equipment including building services plant and major steam installations. Subsequently, he joined one of the UK’s major M & E consulting engineering practices in Bristol with specific experience gained in air conditioning and energy management system design before becoming a founding Partner of Clifford Talbot Partnership in 1984.
Our Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth running of all our services provided to clients.
Qualified to degree level and with extensive experience of working with the Company both as an Account Executive and as a manager, he is the person ultimately responsible for all aspects of our utility services.

Our Account Executives provide the day-to-day interaction with clients and suppliers.
Each has their own portfolio of accounts and meet at the end of every week to discuss issues that have arisen and to agree what may be required in the forthcoming week and months.
They are all highly motivated and driven to provide the service that is expected from our clients. All are degree qualified.
Account Support Team
In order to provide only the best service, our account support team is also highly experienced and are led by Account Support Managers.
They are qualified up to degree level and have considerable experience of utility services.
Energy Management Engineers
Our energy management team includes a variety of highly experienced energy management engineers.
They have qualifications ranging from B.Sc. (Hons) to Ph.D.
