Prices remain steady as weather stays mild

November 2012

The wholesale market prices of Brent crude oil, electricity and natural gas have seen very little movement over the last week, with the main driver at the moment being outside weather which has been relatively mild. There are still many and varied issues with future supply security and global political events which could potentially trigger market reactions, but at the moment relative calm in the Middle East and ample (if far from record) supply storage levels are largely allaying any fears, for the short-term at least. http://www.cliffordtalbot.co.uk/energy-prices
