A client recently requested that Clifford Talbot Partnership undertake a procurement exercise for a relatively small electricity supply, despite the recommendation from CTP that it is generally more beneficial to utilise the partnership’s full bill validation and analysis services. On receipt of the first copy invoice from the client, CTP’s account executive identified a billing error of £1000. The client then agreed to pay a small extra fee to use the full service. Upon completion of a detailed full analysis of all historical invoices Clifford Talbot Partnership identified errors resulting in a massive £14,568 refunds for the client which dated back to 2004. This was resolved with the supplier within a couple of weeks of appointment. |
